Hardscape adds usable outdoor space and lasting value — but only if it's built for the conditions. We install paver patios, walkways, steps, and seat walls on properly prepared bases so they resist the heaving and settling that come with freeze-thaw.
We measure the space, discuss materials and layout, and check grade and drainage.
You choose pavers or stone; we lay out the design and prepare an itemized quote.
We excavate and build a compacted base — the step that determines how long it lasts.
Pavers are set, cut, locked with edge restraint and sand, and the site is cleaned.
Most failed patios fail at the base. Our hardscapes are built on deep, compacted, well-draining sub-bases so repeated freeze-thaw cycles can't heave or crack them — the difference between work that lasts a season and work that lasts decades.
For mountain conditions we usually recommend pavers — they flex with freeze-thaw and individual units can be lifted and reset if ever needed, unlike a cracked slab.
Not when the base is done right. We over-build the sub-base and compact in lifts, which is what prevents heaving at elevation.
In most cases, yes. We'll source materials to complement your home and any existing hardscape.
